His rise will ill-gotten - karma's a bitch. You can't win long term by blowing away everyone in your way. In my humble opinion if you want to be a real winner - create strong ties with those that can aid you and cover your weaknesses. Unless your a genius or incredibly lucky the long ranger goes down blazing every time. You could also argue his ultimate fate proved everyone right. His rise will ill-gotten – karma’s a bitch.
