glad you thought it was amusing! yes, it was a irrational email I received from his friend, I think is from UK, but yea, the english is very poor.

But we have to be ready to be strong during tough times, right Nigel, and keep on growing and learning. Thanks for your unending support.

hope you won’t mind if i found this post very amusing. well, i remeber you once wrote “adventure on internet” somewhere and this is exactly one kind of adventure, and i found amazingly that you experienced more than once…

it confused me, however, that you said this guy is from uk. but how come he wrote such crazy english?

and one more thing, i have to say you are not a solo foreginer far from friends and family. i mean, you are such a kind person and i am sue somebody is gonna to help you if you are in trouble. cheer up, eveil people are everywhere and you can’t balme yourself for confronting with them…

@Scott !! BALL BIT – i forgot a bout that threat – the farmer older brother that wanted to FIND ME, BEAT ME WITH A BALL ‘BIT (bat) – I guess I have just always gotten myself involved in high risk, extreme situations……and obviously there is higher probability to get into some crazy situations like these. I don’t like the boring lifestyle…”thrive in chaos”. Wish I was writing a blog back in “ball ‘bit” – that was like 1998 I think…..blogs weren’t around – maybe I’ll dig up the voicemail – I put it on a mp3

but yea, this email is pretty lame – at least run grammar check before sending – seems all emotional…..

@david – yea exactly like you thought – when i first read it, i thought it was a serious email from a lawyer, but as it got more emotional, more spelling errors, and then a THREAT….amazingly stupid.

I already found the guy’s real name – on shenzhenparty – I’ve recorded all types of information about him locally on my harddrive, he’s from the UK. Been here a few weeks, and has warmed up to Mark.

The sick part is, I still feel bad for the guy. I take pity on this.

Hahahahah, sorry this thing continues to take up your time and add to the stress. You figure out who this dude is? I was concerned until the letter became threatening – I think this adds to the argument that he has no friends as he’s turned to some shady person who as far as I can deduce from this letter has not actual ties to gangsters and does a piss-pour job of impersonating someone with actual legal experience. I have a recommended measured response, find the fucker – get his number or reply by e-mail “how much is he paying you? I’ll double it.” Arrange a meeting and inform the police of the matter and have them accompany you to the meeting. Might want to have a camera armed so you can snap a picture before he runs.

imma hit your ass with a BALL BIT! but really, the only thing frightening about this is their grammar/spelling. I donno why you would think of this character as a push over when it’s someone else who has to tell you this stuff through Email. what complete lack of balls. Screw him, what does he think this is, America?
