Thanks for your replies guys. Yea, seems entrepreneurs and businessmen in US take it for granted the laws and protection they have in place.

while it may seem like "red tape" and extra costs, it protects original inventors, ideas, and promotes and rewards those who bring true innovation to the world.

Another interesting thing is, as the world "flattens" or shrinks, with the internet passing information faster across countries and people, where does the original idea stay? I really think we'll have to have international ways to protect ideas and brands, not just country by country.

along we go, keep pushing.

whoa thats interesting. it always seemed like all the copyright stuff and non disclosure agreements here in the USA are ridiculous and just cost too much overhead but this just proves how necessary they really are. we never really appreciate all the freedoms, protections, and opportunities here in the US until you see how the lack of them affects people in another country.

hey i ran into an interesting site yesterday you should check it out
www.madeintheUSA.com how successful do you think this website/company/idea will be?

Great article. The Internet environment in China is just like this.

But I think that the Internet industry is the fairest industry in China.

And maybe we can talk about douban the next time.

yes, that's china.
when the products from different companies are the same, then the key point is to fight with the details of UI,UE, speed, service of the consultant ,and even the GuanXi.
and who becomes the first one to get the market, who'll succeed.

but there is a website called douban(www.douban.com), it's the best innovation in china, to share the life.

and also in shenzhen the second internet company is called XunLei(http://www.xunlei.com/), it's a download software(C/S), the speed is the fastest with its core technology, but still facing the copyrights problem when they want to IPO, as it's inlegal out of china.
